Fund Raising - 1 of 3

Over the last year Leonie has worked hard to raise the money to fund her BA (Hons) in Performance Arts (Musical Theatre Option) at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Course fees are currently £11,050 per year and coupled with living in London the estimated expenditure for the 3 year course is £60,000.

Leonie could have started the course in September 2007 but chose instead to defer her entrance for one year to enable her to work and save for the fees.

Leonie has been raising money by:

• Running three jobs - one full time Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30 for a computer company in Trowbridge, a Saturday job in the local chemist and she is a supervisor in a local shop on Sunday evenings. She is managing to put the wages from the full time job into an ISA account.
